The West Indies have named their T20 women’s 14-member squad with Jamaican batsman Chinelle Henry in the mix.
She has been named for their five matches in the Twenty20 series against India women starting on Saturday, November 9 in St Lucia.
Unfortunately, a few days ago, Henry missed the team’s last two ODI’s due to the ICC concussion protocol, after colliding with the advertising boards beyond the boundary while saving two runs in the opening match last Friday. This was followed by a release from WI that she would be unavailable for a minimum of seven days.
Henry now returns with Barbadian Shakera Selman.
Selman, who missed the ODI series with an injury, is now fit for the T20 International series.
The other members of the team are Stafanie Taylor (captain), Anisa Mohammed (vice-captain), Aaliyah Alleyne, Afy Fletcher, Hayley Matthews, Chedean Nation, Stacey-Ann King, Kyshona Knight, Natasha McLean, Shabika Gajnabi, Shermaine Campbelle, and Sheneta Grimmond.
