Fast-rising reggae sensation ‘Koffee’ is making major inroads internationally and is receiving high praises for her music.
The Jamaican star this time has found herself among a list of top entertainers who were listed on former US President Barack Obama’s highly anticipated 2019 summer playlist.
Obama recently shared the playlist he and his wife Michelle enjoyed throughout the summer and Koffee’s ‘Toast’ was listed among the songs on Obama’s 44 song Summer Playlist which he revealed on Twitter.
Koffee was listed at number 28.
The endorsement did not go unnoticed as Koffee later took to Twitter to repost the tweet saying “WOW!!! Gratitude really is a must.”
The highly anticipated reveal also saw Toots and The Maytals classic ’54-46′, among the list of presidential favourites.
Koffee whose given name is Mikayla Simpson enjoying much success in her breakout year, with several hit singles already under her belt which continue to secure mainstream recognition locally and internationally.
