The Industrial Dispute Tribunal has ordered production workers at New Day Aluminium Co (formerly Noranda Bauxite), St Ann to resume normality.
The workers have been on go slow since June 28, after failing to get the management and then the Ministry of Labour to deal with what they say is short payment of their salaries.
The IDT last night ordered the workers to resume normal duties today, Saturday July 7.
The workers through their union, University and Allied Workers Union (UAWU) have sought, without success, to get the management to address their claim. The matter was referred to the Ministry of Labour but no action was taken until the workers went on go slow.
It was then referred to the IDT which is to hear the dispute.
