Blake And Dwyer Through To Semis

The IAAF World Championships Men’s 200m Heats have concluded, and two Jamaican men have secured their spot into the Semi-Finals. Yohan Blake finished second in heat 3 clocking a season-best (20.23) while Jamaica’s National Champion Rasheed Dwyer powered through heat 5 finishing third (20.37).

World Leader Noah Lyles of the United States made it looked easy with an impressive curve clocking 20.26 for second in his heat.

All eyes are on the 22-year-old American Sprinter as he aims to break the world record held by Usain Bolt – a task simplified after clocking 19.50 in Lausanne, Switzerland recently.
