Boy Drowns In Clarendon


The Frankfield Police, Clarendon are probing the circumstances surrounding the suspected drowning of 10-year-old Maalik Walters of Lampard district, in the parish on Sunday, April 14.

Reports are that about 2:00 p.m., residents found Maalik lying on the bank of the Rio Minho and called the Police. The Police responded and he was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Some reports said the boy was pulled from the river after getting into difficulties. However, no one performed CPR to save him.

Investigations continue.
