Boyz Stop Antigua 2-0 In Friendly International

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz defeated Antigua and Barbuda 2-0 in their friendly international at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua on Sunday.

The win completed a two-match road trip by the Reggae Boyz, who had defeated St Kitts and Nevis 3-1 Thursday evening.

On Sunday, former Cornwall College midfielder Peter-Lee Vassell, gave Jamaica the lead two minutes before the halftime interval, with Javain Brown adding the second nine minutes after the break.

The Reggae Boyz were playing the return match against Antigua and Barbuda, as both teams met last month at Sabina Park, which ended 1-1. That result infuriated coach Theodore ‘Tappa’ Whitmore.
