Cops Seize 2,500 Pounds Of Ganja In Manchester

Detectives assigned to the Narcotics Division seized 2,500 pounds of compressed ganja during an operation in Guts River, Manchester on Friday, September 28.


Reports are that about 1:00 p.m., lawmen were in the area when a vegetated area was searched and 27 knitted plastic bags were found containing compressed ganja, which was subsequently seized. The illicit drug has an estimated street value of J$10 million.


No one was arrested in relation to the seizure.


Investigations continue.
