COVID-19 Adds 6 But Recovery Saves 5

The Health and Wellness ministry during its latest update on the matter of the coronavirus has noted that Jamaica recorded six new cases.

These cases are comprised of two males and four females, within the age range of 6 to 35 years. The parish breakdown shows that two are from Westmoreland and the other four are from Kingston and St Andrew, Hanover, Trelawny, and St James.

Of the six new cases, 4 are imported cases from the United States while the other two are contacts of a confirmed case.

Jamaica now has a total of 684 confirmed cases.

Meanwhile, five additional recoveries have been recorded which sees the island with a whopping 526 recoveries.
