The Ministry of Health and Wellness has announced that a total of 10 new cases of the coronavirus has been added to the nation’s tally.
The breakdown shows that 5 are from those repatriated Jamaicans who arrived via a cruise ship in Trelawny. They include 4 males and one female.
The other 5 include one male and 4 females. Three are from Kingston and St Andrew and two are from St. Catherine. Three of these are contacts of previously confirmed cases and two are being investigated.
Together, these 10 cases now push Jamaica’s tally to 544.
Meanwhile, another 10 persons have also recovered from the virus and therefore the total amount of recoveries is now 191.
