COVID-19 Positive Cases & Recoveries Increases

The Jamaican government through the Ministry of Health and Wellness minutes ago announced that five new cases have been confirmed within the last 24 hours. The five include four females and one male whose ages range from 32 – 46 and are from the parishes of Kingston & St Andrew, St. Catherine, Manchester, and St. James. Three of the new cases are imported and are Jamaicans who recently were allowed to return home. The other two cases are under investigation. With these, the island’s tally of confirmed cases is 569. Meanwhile, a total of 12 more persons have recovered from the virus and now sees Jamaica with a total of 279 recoveries.
