The mastermind who helped to guide the musical career of Shabba Ranks, from a hardcore dancehall artiste to a Grammy award winner, has died.
Robert “Bobby Digital” Dixon, aged 59, passed away in Kingston, Jamaica on Thursday afternoon (May 21).
According to his son, music producer Sheldon “Calibud” Stewart, Bobby died as a result of kidney problems.
Aside from working with Shabba, Digital worked with reggae legends Buju Banton; Cocoa Tea, Admiral Tibet, Garnet Silk, and Sizzla.
