Here are some of the local events happening this weekend. We kick start our events calendar with International Women’s Day celebration.

St. Ann, March 8

March Fantasy is on at Full Rev Lawn, Colgate, St. Ann. It’s a 45 shoot out and stage show with live performances from Nature Ellis, Merciless, Bluugo, Mixing Lab and many more. Sound Clash action kicks off at 9 pm. Don’t forget the live performances get underway at 12 mid-night. Come out early!

 

Montego Bay, March 9

Affair of The Arts!

The Carics International Fine Arts Festival Presents Arts Exhibition and Entertainment showcase. Wholesome family Entertainment and a diverse exhibition of fine arts and exquisite craft items from 10 am- 6 pm. The event happens at the Old Hospital Park, Gloucester Avenue, Montego Bay, St. James. Agent Sasco will be there, so mark the date and don’t be late.

 

Kingston, March 9

Let’s do this one for charity!

The Association of Surgeons in Jamaica presents an ultra-all-inclusive party, “Scrubs 3/0” at The Mona Visitors Lodge (UWI). Live performances by Tarrus Riley and The Band featuring Dean Fraser. Part proceeds go to the Jamaica Cancer Society’s fight against prostate cancer.

Come out and support this worthy cause!

The Jamaica Rum Festival is here!

Park Drive Hope Gardens St. Andrew is the place to be 11 am- 9 pm for a combination of education and entertainment. The signature event offers rum, food, music and art. Grab your passes for this exciting two-day event and don’t miss it!

 

Montego Bay, March 9

Pier 1 will be lit!

Brit Jam is hosting their annual Super Nova Neon Lights event. It’s an all-day event so see you there!

 

Negril, March 9

Moving over to the west end for Ripples Inferno the party is on at Waves Beach Negril. Come for the party with mix masters Smoke infinity876, Illusion Sound, Timeless full speed and many more. It all goes down at 7pm. Come out early!
