This morning, Sunday June 14, an earthquake was felt across Jamaica.
According to the US Geological Survey the earthquake was at a magnitude of about 4.0 and around eight kilometers off the coast of Buff Bay, Portland.
Reportedly, it happened around 3:00 a.m. at a depth of 10 kilometers.
Our news team also received reports from residents who claimed to have felt the quake.
A few said it resulted in them not having electricity for a while, however, the Jamaica Public Service (JPS) is yet to confirm.
