Veteran Reggae Icon Beres Hammond put the lid on his ‘Never Ending Tour’ of the United States and Canada earlier this week.


The tour which started in late July in Danbury, Connecticut, made stops in Baltimore, Cincinnati, Chicago, Boston, Toronto, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Newark, Huntington (New York), Richmond (Virginia), Washington DC, Norfolk (Virginia), Charlotte (North Carolina), Atlanta, Orlando, and Fort Lauderdale.


The ‘Never Ending Tour’ culminated with a show celebrating Beres Hammond’s 64th birthday at Racket, a club in the trendy Miami district of Wynwood. Tributes flowed for the icon with his backup singers paying homage to the man of the moment delivering soulful renditions of his hit singles.


Romain Virgo, who was part of the Never Ending Tour, did a solid 15-minute performance that included Double Trouble, I Feel Good, then went into his hits Mi Caan Sleep and Way Too Beautiful. Virgo closed his set with Hammond’s 1977 ballad, One Step Ahead.

Gospel Artiste Rondell Positive preps for the release of his new album.


The album is titled ‘The Mirror’ and is Rondell’s third album. His last project was his 2016 effort, ‘Dominion’. The artiste is preparing for the release in February 2020, with plans to use the project to touch the lives of many Jamaicans.


The album includes singles producer by Barbwire Productions and other producers.


Rondell is known for several hits including ‘Keeping Me Alive’, ‘Conqueror’, ‘Stressless Dance’ and many more.




Reggae crooner Sizzla is scheduled to return to the Canadian stage after not having his visa for 10 years. The artiste shared the news with fans in a recent interview.


It has been 13 years since the artiste performed in Canada and his fans are anticipating his return, with a scheduled performance at the ‘One Love Festival’ at Downsview Park in Toronto. He is set to join acts like Mavado, Agent Sasco, Spragga Benz, and Baby Cham. The artiste is all set to deliver a memorable performance while he reconnects with his fans.


Sizzla, whose given name is Miguel Orlando Collins, was recently honoured for his contribution to the development of the music industry by the Government of Jamaica. The artiste was one of the recipients of the Reggae Icon Awards during the Jamaica 57 Independence Grand Gala, held at the National Stadium, on Tuesday (August 6).





Dancehall Artiste Agent Sasco has reinforced his commitment to the ‘We Transform’ Programme which he has been a part of since 2017, serving in the capacity of mentor and ambassador.


The Recording artiste recently made two donations of $25,000 each to the top boy and top girl at the recent ‘We Transform’ Sports and Fun Day, held at the Rio Cobre Juvenile Correctional Centre in Spanish Town, St Catherine.


The recipients a boy, who is a ward at the Rio Cobre facility, while the girl is under the probation system, and is studying at a major institution.


Sasco is encouraging excellence among these young people, and through this initiative has been providing support for these youngsters to achieve their dreams.
