Koffee’s motivational tour in high gear, Richie Spice back with “Together We Stand”, Desha Ravers ties the knot, Asafa and Wife Alyshia welcome their bundle of joy and Spragga Benz tops Billboard chart.

Fast Rising reggae artiste Koffee is embarking on her motivational campaign titled the “the Haffi Make It School Tour”. The tour is currently focused on high school students giving them the guidance and principles needed to unlock their creative potential.

The reggae hitmaker has already completed stops at Ferncourt High, Ocho Rios High and St. Elizabeth Technical High where she shared her positive and spirited message to some of the nation’s youth. Koffe is scheduled for other appearances at the Hampton School for Girls and Newell High School in the month of November, with other schools to be confirmed.

The School Tour is an introduction to a developing scholarship programme that will be launched as a joint effort between Koffee Music LLC and the Mentoring and Training Leaders for Tomorrow programme, founded by Koffee’s manager, Tammi Chang. In partnership with the Rotary Club, the scholarship is meant to encourage youth empowerment, targeting youth between the ages of 12 and 25.

The tour will resume January 2020 and is named after a soon to be released track.


Reggae artiste Richie Spice is back with a new single titled, “Together We Stand”. The single was released on Friday, October 12 and will also be a featured track on the upcoming, “Strictly The Best 60”, which is scheduled to be released November 22 on the VP Records imprint.


Richie Spice in his effort to continue his musical mandate maintains his passion to empower, educate and entertain through song. The single written by the artiste is produced by Clive Hunt and tells a story of being united in a time when division is more prevalent than ever.

The veteran entertainer known for hit reggae songs Earth A Run Red, Youth Dem So Cold, Marijuana, Brown Skin and Ghetto Girl, Richie Spice has recorded eight albums for VP Records in his career, including his debut, Spice In Your Life, which earned critical praise, Streets To Africa, Gideon Boot which debuted at number one on the Billboard Reggae Chart in May 2008, and Book of Job in 2011.


Richie Spice was presented with the Peter Tosh Pioneer Award, at the recently concluded Canex Jamaica 2019. He was recognised for the solid catalogue of hit ganja songs produced by him throughout his career.


Desha Ravers, daughter of Beenie Man is now a married woman.

The members of the Ding Dong led Ravers Clavers dance crew Deshagaye “Desha Ravers” Davis and Kevon Lawrence, more popularly known as Wiz Ravers, tied the knot on October 11, 2019. The couple both shared the intimate moment with social media fans posting pictures of their nuptials on their Instagram pages.

The images showed Desha dressed in a revealing lacy white dress and a shawl, while wiz was dapperly dressed in a black suit, gazing into each other’s eyes.

The couple who have been together for quite some time managed to keep their relationship private. The two have joined an elite team of dancehall entertainers who tied the knot and openly share the news of their union with the world.

Desha Ravers, who is the only female dancer of the Ravers Clavers Crew and Wiz Ravers.

We continue the congratulatory messages as sprinter Asafa Powell and his wife Alyshia Miller on Tuesday, October 8, welcomed their little bundle of joy into the world. The baby boy is their first child together and the couple couldn’t be happier. The sprint king took to social media where he and his wife shared the news with their adoring fans.

Asafa Powell and Alyshia got married back in February at the Rose Hall Great House in Montego.

On to Billboard news!

Veteran dancehall artiste Spragga Benz became the oldest dancehall artiste to top the Billboard reggae albums chart last week, with his seventh studio album, Chiliagon. The album Released on September 27 by Easy Star Records, is a 15 track set which features a number of collaborations and a remix of Differ which features Sean Paul, Chi Ching Ching, and Agent Sasco.
