Jah Cure teams up with Damion Marley for latest single, Bugle shoots visuals for Zaddy music video, Shenseea explains show cancellations and Shaggy gets personal with new album.

International Recording Artiste Jah Cure, born Siccature Alcock, recently joined forces with Damian ‘Junior Gong’ Marley for his latest single ‘Marijuana’, on the VP Records imprint just in time for 4/20. The music video for the single will premiere on Complex on April 19.

‘Marijuana’, is produced and written by Jah Cure, Damian Marley, Fredrick Seymour and Anwar McDonald for Iyah Cure Music Ltd. The single embraces the conscious use of marijuana in a rhythmic serenade by the two artistes.

The latest single is the prelude of what’s to come with Jah Cure’s upcoming album, which is scheduled for release this summer. The album will feature previously released singles ‘Risk It All’, featuring Phyllisia Ross, ‘Life Is Real’ featuring Popcaan and the recently released ‘Pretty Face’.


Reggae Crooner Bugle whose birth name is Roy Thompson is enjoying a wave of success with his newly released singles. The artiste who is saturating the airwaves and social scenes with ‘Zaddy’, now moves to amplify promotion around the ‘A Jus Di Vybz’ produced track.


Bugle is also preparing for the release of the music video for ‘Zaddy’, and promises that the release is coming in weeks. The ‘Zaddy’ production features an all-star cast for the official music video, with celebrity appearances by Jesse Royal, IbaMahr, Kabaka Pyramid, Jada Kingdom, Jahmiel and dancer Shakespear. Bugle is also expected to commence work on his third studio album.



Dancehall Artiste Shenseea, whose given name is Chinsea Lee, took to social media recently to explain her illness. The artiste revealed that she is suffering from vocal cord
trauma. The fast rising entertainer also took the opportunity to apologize to fans after being forced to cancel shows in London and Birmingham to include other scheduled tour dates, if her condition doesn’t improve. The singer has expressed frustration about not being able to record new music or perform over the last couple of weeks, and asks that fans and supporters keep her in their prayers.

The International two time Grammy winning artiste, born Orville Burrell is getting a little bit more personal with his new album titled ‘WahGwaan?’. The album takes Shaggy back to his musical roots and is scheduled to be released on May 10.

WahGwaan?, features 14 tracks and a number of top producers which includes Tony and Dave Kelley, Shane HoSang, Dwayne Shippey and Martin Kierszenbaum. The solo album marks Shaggy’s first in 6 years.

The artiste disclosed that the project was being recorded and produced at the same time as his 44/876 album with Sting which continues to reap major success.
