Fugitive To Be Extradited To Jamaica This Week

Fitzroy Andre Coore, a 23-year-old man who was wanted for several serious crimes in Clarendon, is expected to be deported from Antigua later this week following his arrest in the island nation on Friday, May 11.

The fugitive, who is from Alexander Drive in Farm District, Clarendon, was listed among Jamaica’s 30 most wanted in January. He was linked to a case of shooting with intent in December of 2017.

But police sources informed Jamaica Today that Coore, who is also known by the alias ‘Bees,’ was also being sought for questioning in relation to crimes, including murders in Clarendon. In addition, he has been linked to several contract-style killings, which have been carried out in Manchester and St James.

According to an article published last Friday on the Antiguan Observer website, “Coore was apprehended during a joint operation between police and immigration officials at the airport.

He had just disembarked Liat flight #317 from St. Kitts, where he was hiding out over a period of time.”

The Antiguan Observer further reported that a “woman was also taken into custody by police and is assisting them with their investigation into the matter.”

The article added that “both police and immigration officials are currently making arrangements to have the wanted fugitive escorted out of the country and handed over to Jamaican authorities” sometime this week.
