Gold For Buju


Reggae Icon Mark ‘Buju Banton’ Myrie is maintaining his relevance on the local and international music scenes, and continue to reap rewards from his timeless catalogue of music. Buju’s “Til Shiloh” album is now officially certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales of over 500,000 copies in the United States on September 27, 2019.

The album which was released in 1995 by Loose Cannon Records, a short-lived subsidiary of Island Records, is a compilation of smash hits including “Til I’m Laid to Rest”, “Murderer”, “Champion”, “Untold Stories” and” Wanna Be Loved”.

The album debuted at number 148 on the US Billboard 200 chart and also debuted at number 27 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The project is the fourth album by the Grammy-winning entertainer.
