Grade six students will sit the final component of this year’s Primary Exit Profile (PEP), Tuesday and Wednesday, April 16 and Wednesday April 17.
On Tuesday students will respond to 40 selected and constructed response in both Language Arts and Science at 9:00 a.m. and 11:45a.m respectively.
On Wednesday the first session will see the administration of Mathematics to be followed by Social Studies, using the same format. Each exam will last for 90 minutes.
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Information says the necessary provisions have been made for an efficient and smooth running of these activities. As is customary, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information will provide support for students with special needs.
More than 40,000 students are registered for the examination which is being set for the first time this year, replacing the GSAT. The first component, the abilities test was set at the end of February.
