Gun And Ammunition Found At The Home Of Trelawny Man

A Trelawny man is to answer to gun-related charges after police officers seized a weapon and ammunition at his dwelling recently.

He is thirty-two-year-old Nicardo Skinner otherwise called ‘Rickie’, of Top Hill district, Clarks Town in the parish. Skinner was charged with the offences of Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition following the seizure of a handgun on Tuesday, June 2.

According to the Falmouth Police a police team was on an operation in the area between the hours of 5:00 a.m., and 8:00 a.m., when Skinner’s house was searched. One 9mm pistol along with four 9mm rounds of ammunition was found at the premise.

He was arrested and subsequently charged. His court date is being finalised.
