A man has been slapped with several cocaine charges after he was held at the Norman Manley International Airport and later passed out more than two pounds of cocaine in homemade capsules.
Arrested and charged is 50-year-old Oral Willis of St. Ann’s Bay, St. Ann. He was charged with the offences of: possession of cocaine, dealing in cocaine and importing cocaine
Reports are that during security checks Willis was stopped and interviewed and based on his responses he was detained. Willis was subsequently taken to a medical facility where he was examined. He subsequently expelled 102 homemade capsules containing white substance resembling cocaine weighing approximately 2.2 pounds and has an estimated street value of $1.1 million.
He is scheduled to appear in the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court on Wednesday, March 13.
