Hundreds Turn Out For Jamboree And Cultural Expo

The second staging of the Emancipendence Jamboree and Cultural Expo held at the Whitter Village in Ironshore, Montego Bay St. James was a major success.


Hundreds turned out for the event that was a show of local talent and products as well as a fun event for children and a stage show.

Emcee was Ron Muschette of Mello FM who kept the children truly entertained in quiz and dance activities for prizes Several hundred children took part in fun activities at the Kiddies Village. The Jamboree had many craft vendors displaying their items for sale.


Ex Convict was truly energetic.


The Goofy Brothers were the first set of entertainers to put some spark into the event. They were followed by fast rising Montego Bay singer Jovexx who delivered his popular song call ‘Go Hard’ that was well received.

Next up was Viice who had the children singing along with him. He was followed on stage by Ex Convict who gave an energetic performance. The night was also brightened with the fireman chanter who goes by the name Mystic. He did some stuns with fire and also invited patrons to come onstage and join him with his amazing fire work displays
