The Met Service says at 4:00 a.m. (Saturday) the remnants of Isaac were located near latitude 14.8 degrees North, longitude 70.8 degrees West or 730 km east southeast of Kingston.
Maximum sustained winds are near 5 km/h with higher gusts.
The remnants of Isaac will likely continue to produce gusty winds
and occasional heavy rains while moving westward across the central and western Caribbean during the next few days.
Yesterday (Friday) afternoon Isaac regained some strength and became a storm that was expected to produce rains over Jamaica Saturday and Sunday as it passed south of the Island.
The Meteorological Service will continue to monitor this system.
