Jamaican Wins the 2019 ARX2 Championship

The Americas Rallycross Championship, also known as ARX RallyCross, ended on Sunday, October 6 with Jamaican, Fraser McConnell, collecting the ARX2 champion trophy.

Fraser won the ARX2 RallyCross event at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, in September. He then became an over-all champion after competing in the Cooper Tires ARX of Mid-Ohio double-header on Saturday, October 5 and Sunday, October 6.

With this win, Fraser created history as he is the first Jamaican to win a Rally Cross competition.

Fraser posted to his Instagram “Whether or not you know me, you know how much this win means to me”. He said that dreams become reality through working “endlessly”.

The new champ received congratulations from members the Jamaica Motor Sports fraternity and Prime Minister Andrew Holness.
