Jamaicans In London Demonstrate In Vain

There was no demonstration at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, when 17 deportees from the United Kingdom arrived in Jamaica on a Home Office chartered flight.

There was a demonstration on the other side of the Atlantic, as Jamaicans in London who are against the deportation of their countrymen, took to streets to demonstrate to keep them home, in the UK, but that was in vain. The Home Office said the 17 deportees are not of the Windrush family; they are not British. They are foreign nationals who commit crime and must be deported after serving 12 or more months in prison, and the British public will be happy to see the back of them.”
