Following the adjustment made to the island-wide curfew which now begins daily at 8 pm, the Jamaica National Bank has adjusted it’s opening and closing hours.
Branches such as Spanish Town, May Pen, Mandeville, Santa Cruz, Ocho Rios, Brown’s Town,
Savanna-la-Mar, Port Maria, Port Antonio, Morant Bay, Duke Street, downtown Kingston,
Tivoli, New Kingston, Premier on Belmont Road New Kingston will open from 8:30 a.m. and close at 2:30 p.m. on Mondays to Thursdays, however, on Friday’s they will open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 3:30 p.m.
While JN Banks, Barbican, Portmore, UWI, Knutsford Boulevard, New Kingston, Half-Way Tree Transport Centre, Michi, Washington Boulevard, Linstead, Old Harbour, Junction, Christiana, St Ann’s Bay, Highgate, Lucea, Market Street, Montego Bay, Whitehouse, Catherine Hall will open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
However, JN Half-Way-Tree will open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., daily.
In a statement, JN says “We encourage members and customers to continue to abide by the orders outlined by the government and to always wear a mask or face-covering in public; maintain physical distancing when gathered at establishments and to observe proper hygiene practices. The management also urges customers to reduce the need to go into a JN Bank branches, and recommend the use of ATMs, DropBox facilities and JN LIVE online banking to conduct transactions. These facilities are convenient and provide more time to conduct several banking transactions.”
