Police have charged with murder the former JUTC driver implicated in the stabbing death of taxi operator,
Akeeno Britton on September 23.
Charged is 39-year-old Oral Clarke of Kingston 11.
Britton, of Ambrook Lane, Kingston 10 was stabbed to death about 6:45 p.m. September 23, on the Washington Boulevard following an altercation with a bus driver.
Clarke turned himself into the Police following the death of Britton.
Clarke was charged with murder on Friday, October 4.
The stabbing death of Britton later led to what police said was a reprisal killing of a JUTC driver also in St Andrew. That sparked a two-day shutdown of the public transport system as JUTC drivers expressed fear for their lives in the midst of threats.
