Kiwanis Club Of 23 West Changes Lieutenant Governor


Incoming presidents of the Kiwanis Clubs within Division 23 West, and sections of the crowd.


More than 50 Kiwanians were awarded this afternoon (Saturday, October 5) at the Division 23 West’s “Changing of the Guards” and Joint Installation Ceremony held at the Versailles Hotel in May Pen.

The Custos of Clarendon, William Shagoury, in his opening charge reminded the Kiwanians present that “whether you are Christian, Muslim, whatsoever..the aim is to give back..”

The new Lieutenant Governor, Huit Johnson, introduced the new workers for the administrative year and charged them to work together and to make it a successful year.

The event ended with brunch and a potpourri of harmonious renditions by 6PM, a gospel acapella group.

This year marks the Kiwanis Organization’s 104th year of existence and their 55th year operating in Jamaica.
