Koffee Added To BBC Radio 1’s Music Festival 2020



Grammy award-winning reggae artist, Koffee, has been added to the BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend music festival 2020, scheduled for May 22-24.


This is the UK’s first-ever virtual music festival which will be streamed and broken into five stages which are: The Radio 1 Stage, the Radio 1 Dance Stage, the 1Xtra Stage, the BBC Music Introducing Stage, and last but not least the Headliner Stage.


Koffee made the revelation that she has been added to the lineup on Twitter and that she will be performing on the 1Xtra stage, a stage which will feature throwback performances in the form of virtual playback of Nas, Snoop Dogg, Alicia Keys, and Stefflon Don.


Also, performing on the weekend is international dancehall-pop artiste, Sean Paul who has been announced as a headliner for the Radio 1 Stage, which will also see performances from pop music stars: Sam Smith, The Jonas Brothers, Rita Ora, Ellie Goulding among others.


The music festival will be broadcasted via Radio 1, BBC Sounds and can be view on BBC iPlayer.
