The Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) which contains the most football clubs in Jamaica has expressed interest in having football games resume this summer.
According to KSAFA’s General Secretary Dwayne Dillon, he is seeking to hold discussions with the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) with the hope of allowing football to be played.
Last Friday, May 15, JFF announced that it has decided to cancel all football-related activities on the island until September.
This decision affects the KSAFA through their Super and Major Leagues, and their youth competitions.
Reportedly, the KSAFA is hoping to have the Under 17, Under 15 and Under 13 events staged in the summer (June/July).
