Long Traffic Lines For ‘Long Walk’ Concert

It’s a traffic nightmare in some parts of the capital city as patrons try to get to the National Stadium for Buju Banton’s Long Walk to Freedom Concert, set to start at 8.

A JamaicaToday reporter heading to the venue says it’s a struggle getting to Heroes Park, one of the locations from which a shuttle will operate taking people to the Stadium. There are various bottle necks of converging traffic getting to Heroes Park.

Very few people are able to access the parking areas around the Stadium itself. That includes people with VVIP tickets. Police are all over the area where there have been major traffic diversions in a three-kilometre radius of the Stadium.

The show is set to start at 8.

Stay with JamaicaToday for updates on the concert.
