An Eighteen-year-old man was arrested and charged by the police following a break-in at premises in Bellevue district in the parish on Monday, May 11.
He is identified as Damion Miller.
According to the Junction Police at about 6:30 p.m., Miller allegedly broke into the home of an elderly woman. It is alleged that he stole an undetermined sum of cash and a cellular phone. The Police were summoned and an investigation was launched into the matter.
On Thursday, May 14, Miller, was arrested and charged the following day with House Breaking and Larceny.
He’s to appear in the St. Elizabeth Parish Court on Tuesday, May 19, to answer to the charges.
