The Police in Portland is investigating the shooting death of a man that took place last night, Wednesday, June 3.The deceased is 57-year-old Desmond Prince, otherwise called ‘Barber’.
According to crime chief, Detective Inspector Linton Bailey, reports indicate that shortly after 9 p.m. the deceased was at the entrance of his home in Buff Bay when he was shot.
He was pounced upon by a gunman who opened fire hitting him in the head. Bailey says when the police arrived on the scene Prince was found lying on his back bleeding from the mouth, nostrils, and from the back of his head. The police rushed him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
This now sees Portland’s record of four murders since the start of 2020.
