Man Wanted For Cop Attack In Custody


The man police listed Thursday evening, August 22 as wanted in the attack and injury of a policeman at the Cross Roads Police station, St Andrew is now in custody. The man was said to have stolen the policeman’s gun.

Police had named him as Romario Kevin Abrahams.

The policeman was injured in the incident at the Cross Roads Police Station.

Reports from the Cross Roads Police are that about 1:00 p.m., Thursday, Abrahams went to the Police Station to give a statement and submit a medical report in a case of Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. He attacked a policeman, injuring him and taking away his gun.

Abrahams is now in police custody.
