A Jamaican man who is marked as a fugitive wanted in the United States, is set to appear before the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court today, Thursday, June 4, as his extradition proceedings will begin.
According to the police, the fugitive has been identified as 43-year-old Oshane Lewis, otherwise called ‘Danny’, a construction worker who was residing at Poinciana Avenue in the Kingston 11 area and also in Wynters Garden, St Catherine.
He was arrested through the joint efforts of Jamaica’s Fugitive Apprehension Team and the Hunts Bay Police in St Andrew on Tuesday, June 2.
His extradition surrounds the accusation that back in 2015, he murdered his wife in the American state of Pennsylvania.
Lewis then fled to Jamaica and was allegedly, in hiding for four years.
