The National Water Commission (NWC) says several communities along the Constant Spring Network will experience disrupted water supply between 8 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2019, and 6 am on Saturday, October 12, 2019. The NWC says this is in order to facilitate urgent network operations in areas below Half Way Tree in St Andrew.
As a result, a number of communities situated above the intersection of Shortwood Road and Constant Spring Road will experience low water or no water conditions until regular operations are restored at the plant.
Areas to be affected: Constant Spring Gardens, Upper Manning’s Hill Road, Crane Ave, Upper section of Valentine Gardens, Upper section of Red Hills Road, White Hall Gardens, Beverly Dale, Manning’s Hill Road, Whitehall Avenue, Sections of Red Hills Road and Calabar Mews. NWC customers on other roads including Hagley Park Road and all roads leading off will be affected.
Motorists and pedestrians are also urged to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of Hagley Park and Eastwood Park Road intersection.
