Member of Parliament for Kingston East and Port Royal, Phillip Paulwell has formally entered the race for one of the four vice president spots to be contested at the People’s Notational Party’s next annual conference.
Paulwell told constituents at their annual conference yesterday evening (Sunday, July 8) that he would be contesting for one of the posts.
In a social media campaign video released last night, the former Energy and Mining minister said “My simple mission as Vice President is to help the party CONNECT and RECONNECT with the members, workers, supporters and all Jamaica.”
The four serving vice presidents are Angela Brown Burke, Noel Arscott, Wykeham McNeill and Dr Fenton Ferguson.
Also expected to enter the race for vice president are Senator Damion Crawford and Mikael Phillips. The conference is in September.
