People Can Get COVID-19 Twice

Jamaica’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr Jacqueline Bisasor McKenzie, has echoed what other scientists have said about COVID-19, which is that there’s a possibility that a recovered patient can get re-infected.

Scientists in Wuhan where the virus was born were the first to notice this, when tests on some recovered patients, at least 10% of them, came back positive.

Now, the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) in the US, says they do not yet understand the immune response to the virus, including duration of immunity.
