Delegates of the People’s National Party (PNP) will vote today for four vice presidents out of six people vying for the posts.
The elections commence today at 10 a.m., following months of campaigning in the party. This is one of the highlights of the eightieth annual conference that started Thursday evening and ends Sunday, September 16 with the public session at the National Arena, St Andrew.
The contestants are Angela Brown Burke, Wykeham McNeil, Dr Fenton Ferguson, Phillip Paulwell, Michel Phillips and Damion Crawford.
Political analysts say the outcome of the election will give a clear indication of the direction in which the PNP is headed.
