Police in Portland are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the body of a woman found in a river at the Port Antonio Marina, in the parish on Sunday, November 25.
The body is believed to be in its early thirties, of brown complexion, medium build, about 152 centimetres (5 feet) long. It was clad in red and black leggings and with tattoos all over the body.
Reports are that about 6:35 a.m., a team of officers was on marine patrol when the partially nude body was discovered with several stab wounds. The body was fished from the water and taken to the morgue.
The Police are asking anyone with information that can assist with their investigation to contact the Port Antonio Police at (876)993-3183, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest Police Station.
