Public’s Final Day To Pay Respect To The Late Shahine Robinson

Jamaicans are today, June 16 able to pay their final respect and bid farewell to the former Minister of Labour and Social Security, Shahine Robinson, as her casket is currently at the Jamaica Labour Party headquarters in St Andrew.

Prime Minister and Jamaica Labour Party leader Andrew Holness along with members of his Cabinet, all visited and stood in silence, saluting Robinson and her work in governance.

The period of mourning which was approved by the Cabinet and began from Wednesday, June 10, will end today.

She died from cancer at age 66 on May 29.

A state funeral is being accorded the details are to be announced soon.
