Questions Over Paternity May Have Been Cause Of Hanover Triple Murder

Reports are emerging from Hanover that the domestic dispute that led to the macabre murder of a woman and her two children started over the paternity of the child that the woman was carrying.

Police say they have received reports that the woman was pregnant at the time of the deadly incident that has sent shock waves across the island.

“One of the reports emerging is that the woman 38-year-old Andanique Cunningham went to the home of the man and an argument developed about who was the father of the child she was carrying,” said a police source.

Reports are that the relationship between the two had soured and the two had separated.

The man, who is said to be the father of the two children, reportedly attacked and chopped the woman and the children seven-year-old Jayanna Coote and four-year old Shanique Coote, all of Dixon Wharf, to death.

The alleged attacker was held after he reportedly fled from the scene.
