Reopening Of Entertainment To Be Examined

Prime Minister Andrew Holness today, June 29, during a digital press conference on the Covid-19 Pandemic, noted that the next meeting of the COVID committee of parliament will examine the potential reopening of the entertainment sector.

He noted that the government has seen and heard all the concerns and proposals regarding the sector and promises that a decision will be announced in July.

This follows disc jocks, musicians, and others complains.

The PM also expressed the sensitivity of reopening, noting that the safety of all is foremost important and the committee will be placing the sector under the microscope come Friday, July 3.
