Road Patching For Western Jamaica To Begin Soon

The Andrew Holness-led administration has approved the funding needed to repair several roadways across Western Jamaica.

This will be done under the hot mix patching programme, which will be controlled by the National Works Agency (NWA). The target is to repair and fix approximately 49,000 square meters of the roadway.

The repairs are to begin before the end of February and will take the NWA to the parishes of Trelawny, St James, Hanover, and Westmoreland.

The repairs are estimated to $160 million.
