Security Guard Charged For Perfume

A security guard employed at the Sangster International Airport has been charged for unlawful possession of a bottle of perfume.

He is 21-year-old Jason Larmond of Wilson Valley district in Warsop, Trelawny.

Reports from Narcotics Detectives are that about 10:00 a.m., on Sunday, August 5, a team was called to the Domestic Terminal security checkpoint where a prohibited item, a 100ml bottle of Chanel Blue perfume, was found on the security guard who was coming off the ramp. Larmond was unable to provide the police with information as to how he obtained the item. He was subsequently arrested and charged.

Larmond is scheduled to appear in the St. James Parish Court on Wednesday, August 15.
