David Robinson, a 21-year-old security guard, who was caught while engaged in sexual activities with a minor last week, was granted $350,000 bail with surety when he appeared before the St Elizabeth Parish Court on Tuesday, March 20.
Robinson, who is from Thornton in the parish, was charged with having sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 16. It is alleged that he was found with a 15-year-old girl in the Appleton area of the parish on Tuesday, March 13.
As a condition of his bail, Robinson is to have no contact with the teenager and he is to report to the Siloah Police Station on Saturdays.
In addition, he is to surrender his travel documents to the police and a stop order has been imposed at all ports of entry should he make attempts to leave the island.
Robinson is to return to court on May 15, when the case is to be mentioned.
