Dancehall singjay and songwriter, Staci-Ann ‘Stylysh’ Lamoth, is counting her blessings after she survived a car accident on Sunday night (November 3) in the vicinity of Old Harbour. She was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where she received treatment.
The ‘Me A Wife’ singer posted a video to Instagram on Monday, showing her wearing a neck brace. She said “Last night I saw my life flash before me. I am thankful for life, thank you Jesus prayer me use and win.”
While she is grateful to be alive, Lamoth is unhappy she was with the conditions and lack of professionalism displayed by nurses at the Spanish Town hospital. The conditions caused her to opt to go to the University Hospital of the West Indies, where she is now admitted.
After expressing her displeasure for the Spanish Town Hospital, Health Minister, Christopher Tufton, contacted her via DM (direct messages), where he apologized on behalf of the hospital and the ministry.
There is no word on when she will be released from the hospital.
