Police have taken three males into custody as they continue investigations into the death of 14-year-old Raven Wilson whose body was found in her community, St Ann’s Bay, Sunday.
A release from the police’s communications arm Thursday evening, October 25, said three males were taken into custody on Wednesday, October 24 in relation to the murder of the Ocho Rios High School girl.
Police said the men were picked up on Market Street, St. Ann’s Bay and are to be questioned by detectives.
Jamaica Today reported Wednesday that three people had been taken in for questioning but police were saying they were not suspects and were not in custody.
The girl was reported missing Friday after not returning home from school. Her body was found with a wound to the face and wrapped in plastic bags, Sunday morning on Top Road, St Ann’s Bay, close to her home.
