The three men who perished when a small plane went down near Duncans, Trelawny Thursday (May 3) have been identified.
Police say they are: Rojorn Campbell, Carlon Snipe and 43-year-old Miguel Jones.
Reports are that about 4:30 p.m., Thursday, a Cessna 206 single engine aircraft departed the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James on, enroute to the Tinson Pen Aerodrome in Kingston on a domestic flight. Campbell was the captain, and Snipe and Jones were passengers.
It was reported that contact was lost with the aircraft, at 4:36 while it was in the airspace over Trelawny. A search was launched, and about 24 hours after it disappeared, the aircraft was found Friday about 5 p..m. broken into several pieces in a densely wooded section of Georgia, Trelawny.
The bodies of the three (3) passengers were seen in the area, about two miles south of Duncans.
An investigation is now underway to determine to cause of the crash.
