Moments ago, during the major press conference, now underway Prime Minister Andrew Holness announced that from June 1 -14, all Jamaicans re-entering will be subject to COVID testing except for people coming from countries with similar containment and other measures like Jamaica’s.
A bubble of re-entry is how it was described, which is developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Health.
He also noted that, as of June 15, non-nationals will be allowed entry to the island under strict protocols, which are to be announced.
This is good news for members of the tourism industry.
